And the winner of Best Sommelier of Europe, Africa and Middle East is….
Our sincerest congratulations go to Mikk Parre of Estonia for winning Best Sommelier of Europe, Africa and Middle East as well as 1st runner-up Pascaline Lepeltier of France, and 2nd runner-up Martynas Pravilonis of Lithuania.
Credit goes to the associations and teams behind them too. Mikk, Pascaline and Martynas excelled in the rigorous tasks, stayed composed under pressure and demonstrated impressive knowledge, acute tasting skills and seamless service.
All three together with all the competitors in the competition were shining examples of exceptional talent and passionate that define the sommelier profession.
