Vinhos Verdes Masterclass

A huge thank you to The Wine Agency for organising two amazing masterclasses on the wines of Vinhos Verdes.

Brilliantly led by Portuguese wine expert Sarah Ahmed and 2022 UK Sommelier of the Year Vincenzo Arnese, attendees were able to taste and explore 19 wines showcasing the incredible diversity, quality and gastronomic potentially of Vinhos Verdes. Also in attendance was Romané Basset, General Secretary of the UKSA and who was able to say a few words about the UKSA's work representing the UK's Sommelier Community. It was wonderful to see many of our members in attendance at both the morning and afternoon masteclasses.

We are very grateful to The Wine Agency for their collaboration with the UKSA, and members should stay tuned for more opportunities in the future to learn in depth about the wines of Portugal.
